The exhibition on the facade of EP7 Paris (with invited artists Ex-Mêkh and Sabine Bürger)

is accompanied by a weekend of performances, workshops, and a official curatorial ceremony around the opening.

According to a dictionary not yet written, an idiolith is a short—sometimes very short—film illustrating a compound word,

phrase, or saying that includes a lithic element (such as, in English, “stone” or “rock”).

For EP7, artists’ collective KRAATZ has reimagined an anthology of its simple films as an architectural installation.

Episode 4: Les Idiolithes runs continuously on EP7’s huge screens from September 3-16.

Two days of performances, workshops, and ceremonies has been organized around the opening of the exhibition on Friday September 3.

Story of the object: The tin foodcan is bought in Yogjakarta, Indonesia, during a residence period, and used in installations sinds then.

The Sponge is used in the performance in Berlin. The sponge was used as tool during my lithografic work in the 90^ties.

The last location of the tin can was in Berlin.

This is the Amsterdam sister of Nasty Women NYC,

a group exhibition that serves to demonstrate solidarity among artists who identify with being a Nasty Woman in the face of threats to roll back women’s rights,

individual rights, and abortion rights.

It also serves as a fundraiser to support organizations defending these rights and to be a platform for organization before the Trump Presidential Inauguration in January.
